Skill Requirements:

  • Education: Some high school
  • Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness) Training, First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

 

Other:

Water well driller Journeyman/woman (NOC: 7373)

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of high school
  • Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Water Well Drillers Trade Certification
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
  • Type of Equipment: Mobile water well drilling rigs, well screens, Well casings, Well pumps, Piping systems.
  • Security and Safety: Driver’s validity license check
  • Area of Specialization: Rotary drilling, Hammer drilling
  • Specific Skills: Drill, bore and dig for water wells; Install well screens, casings and other well fixtures; Perform routine maintenance work on water well drilling rigs and equipment; Install, test, maintain and repair water well pumps; Perform pumping tests to assess well performance.
