Ashburn Drilling Ltd. is committed to providing the best customer service in the water-well industry. We have assembled highly-skilled and motivated drilling crews who use the most efficient equipment for the job, follow environmental and safe work practices.
Company president Steve Ashburn is a licensed driller, started in the industry in 1978 working in oil & gas, coal, and water-well drilling operations in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Yemen. He started Ashburn Drilling in 1993, offering domestic and industrial water-well drilling and coal exploration, and then expanded include rental well services for Alberta’s oil and gas sector.
We provide a complete service for drilling projects. Our team can take care of water management by applying for and renewing temporary diversion licenses (TDL) and other paperwork for Alberta Environment. We can locate new wells with consideration for environmental and safety concerns then safely drill and service wells, and finally abandon wells that are no longer needed.
Ashburn Drilling is a member of Alberta Water Well Drilling Association (AWWDA) and has Class A Approval for drilling wells intended for the diversion and use of groundwater from Alberta Environment.
Ashburn has built a management team of excellent people with diverse skills who can provide our clients with a wide range of services. Our team has experience and training in water well drilling, work site safety, environmental awareness, navigating licensing and paperwork, and business. This diversity creates a balanced team where each member has their specialization, but together they form a strong foundation for Ashburn Drilling.
Our field crews include licensed water well drillers with decades of experience in water well drilling. They are qualified to safely operate the drilling equipment and construct and service water wells. They have experience operating larger equipment to drill deeper and bigger wells for our clients. Our experienced drillers are committed to mentoring apprentices, training them in the field in drilling techniques and safe work practices.
